Father is the main antagonist of the KND organization and has made it his goal to hinder or flat out destroy them whenever the opportunity arises. As Sector Z, they are voiced by Ogie Banks, Dave Wittenberg, Jennifer Hale and Tom Kenny. Their last appearance is in Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S., in which they are shown falling down an enormous toilet (Which Numbuh 1 commented "I`ve always wondered how those guys went to the bathroom together") in a run-down roller coaster, their ultimate fate remains unknown as Numbuh 5 had said it was their last encounter (although since death never seems to occur in the KND universe, it's very possible that they survived).Īs the DCFDTL, they are voiced by Benjamin "Ben" Diskin, Dee Bradley Baker and Cree Summer. They are always standing in a certain position, and they say everything in unison. The DCFDTL are responsible for Numbuh 1's baldness which is revealed in Operation: F.O.U.N.T.A.I.N. They have a mirror universe counterpart of five children who speak in valley girl/surfer-type accents rather than the monotone of the DCFDTL, known as The Little Traitor Dudes For Children's Defense. when they helped Numbuh 1 and Numbuh 362 stop Father's plan to spread broccoli throughout the world. Another sign of this might be in Operation: I.T. when they thought Numbuh 1 would turn them into adults in retaliation, showing that perhaps some shred of their former selves survived the delightfulization process. However, they cringed in fear in G.R.O.W.-U.P. The DCFDTL are obsessed with behaving properly and growing into upstanding adults as soon as possible (despite this, it is revealed in the Christmas episode that they are on the naughty list and Santa openly calls them evil). implies that the DCFDTL have five birthdays every year.) Keep in mind that the DCFDTL, not being quintuplets, would have five different birthdays over the course of a single year. (As a side note, the number of episodes involving the DCFDTL's birthday cake might seem to imply that six or seven years have passed since the beginning of the series, making Sector V more than old enough to be decommissioned. This leads to Numbuh 362 giving the mission to Sector W in Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. ![]() ![]() While the cake is usually denied the DCFDTL, it generally ends up blown up, fouled or rendered in some way inedible (Except for S.I.X. Through most of the series Sector V is responsible for stealing the cake from them, with mixed results. Their most recurrent scheme involves their birthdays, where Father prepares a delicious cake for the DCFDTL and they plan to eat it without sharing, usually doing so in such a way to force other children to watch jealously as they do so. The Delightfulization process may have given them eternal youth, or at least increased longevity since Monty knew their true identities as Sector Z despite the fact he is an adult (though this is questionable, as when Father questions how he knew, Monty stated he guessed it based on their skills). Revealed in the movie "Operation: Z.E.R.O.," they are Numbuh 1's cousins by adoption, though this is unspoken. They are a parody on the children from John Wyndham's 1957 novel The Midwich Cuckoos. They are also snobbish and manipulative (albeit only in their delightful state). The machine blew a fuse, causing a power surge in it before it was destroyed, the power surge permanently transformed Sector Z into the Delightful Children. They were kidnapped by Father, who put them in his very first Delightfulization Chamber, which turns kids into well behaved obedient children. Major and Recurring Villains Delightful Children From Down The Laneĭelightful Children From Down The Lane (also referred to as the DCFDTL and the Delightful Children) were once KND operatives from Sector Z but are now the primary enemy of Sector V, having come under the influence of Father.
